It’s funny to think how fast time flies by. It seems like it was just a few years ago that Scott and I worked together at Game Crazy, and he was dating Alicia….but that was over 10 years ago!! Since then, Scott and Alicia married, and now have a beautiful 3 year old little girl (Evva). It was great getting to reconnect with Scott & Alicia, meet sweet Evva, and celebrate their soon-to-be new addition, Mason. :) You guys were so much fun to hang out with and photograph!

Jamie & Alysia – Engagement Shoot

Last weekend Gina and I did an engagement shoot for Jamie and Alysia. We met them in Creswell and walked around the cute little town looking for places to get some good photos. I also got a new Canon 7D camera. It was nice to get a chance to put it through the paces. Lots of fun all around.

Last weekend Gina and I had the pleasure of doing an engagement shoot for our friends Brian and Breezy. They are so fun to be around and we had such a great time hanging out with them and watching them interact with each other. We are super excited to photograph their wedding next year. :)

When my best friend Malina asked me to take some pictures of her and her brother Timmy for Christmas photos, I got totally excited! It was such a blast! Malina and Timmy are pretty close as far as bro’s and sis’s go and it’s totally fun hanging out with both of them! My stomach always seems to hurt the next day from laughter… remember our pajama/cartoon day guys? Haha, good times. I have a few highlights from the shoot to share below. Thanks for an amazingly fun time, as always you guys. We love you! <3

Merry Christmas!

Just wanted to extend our love this Christmas to our clients, family, and friends! I hope it is filled with joy & happiness just as ours is! We had Christmas a little early this year, at my mother-in-law’s house, which was quite wonderful! We had a especially great and tiny gift this year, just in time for Christmas….our new little nephew, Benjamin Gabriel Fegles!

We just couldn’t get enough of that little guy and his sweet newborn cuteness. It was also super fun to see my other, equally adorable, nephew and niece open their presents and truly enjoy their excitement and play with them. :)

There’s SO so much to thank the Lord for…my wonderful husband, our family, our health, getting little Benj here safely, our jobs, a nice roof over our heads.. I couldn’t be happier! Looking forward to a great new year, and we wish you one as well!

Some Fall Fun | Portrait Shoot Corvallis, OR

We had a wonderful time with Tiffany, Ron, and Makenzie this past sunday afternoon at Central Park in Corvallis, OR. The weather for the day started to be a concern, but ended up nice and just overcast, so was wonderful for pictures! We pretty much walked all over the area and got some great shots to share with you!

They did great and were really a lot of fun. Can you say leaf fight?! :)

Alice – Senior Photo Session

On Saturday we had the pleasure of photographing Alice for her high school senior photos. Her family has a home in Corvallis with a beautiful wooded area out back that we were able to take advantage of. We then headed into downtown Corvallis and to the waterfront there. The colorful doors and colorful graffiti in the alleys gave off a lot of personality. Alice was beautiful and she and her family were so much fun to be around.

Being an Uncle is Fun

I’ve always wanted to have kids, but not for any tangible reason other than it was a life goal. Like owning a home or graduating college. This past weekend I got to go to the coast and spend three days with my niece and nephew and I now I really feel like I can say that I do want to have children. Jude and Selah are a lot of fun. Their curiosity and constant desire to laugh and have fun kept me on my toes. I was bombarded by constant requests to chase them around the house or play with the pool table (or Bowling, as Selah liked to call it). I played video games with Jude and Selah tried her best to make me laugh with funny faces and managed to succeed every time.

Bethany and Josh are wonderful parents and it’s cool to see how they deal with certain situations. I took some mental notes for later. I spent any non-kid time getting some much needed relaxation. Books were read, movies were watched, video games were played. I soaked in the hot tub and enjoyed a bottle of wine that I bought from the Oregon Store. I got to enjoy my two favorite meals when I go to Newport, a reuben and Guinness from Nana’s, and clam chowder from Moe’s. I did eventually make it down to beach. The tide was low and there’s a great spot for seeing Starfish and Anemones.

Selah kept me busy. It was my job to hold out my hand so that she could fill it with sand. I was then instructed to dump it and then the process would start all over again. What are uncles for.

Thanks to Josh, Bethany, and the kids for making my weekend fun and memorable. Isn’t family great? =)

Madison | Portrait Shoot

This past weekend Matt & I had the pleasure of meeting a couple special people. A life-long friend of my mother-in-law’s, Gary, and his daughter, Madison! We met at the Lesson Factory where we got to see Madi, and a bunch of really talented youth put on a show for us! I left feeling so proud of these kids! I also just want to say what a truly awesome voice Madi has, (She was the lead singer in the band she played with)! You could just tell what a doting dad Gary is too (especially in one of the pictures below), he was so so proud of his little girl! :)

I absolutely love this next shot…. what a happy dad. : )

You totally rocked the house Madi, thanks for having us!
